Outlook for McCain - 2008 Elections

With the news media reporting a lackluster fund raising effort for McCain, it is unclear what the future holds for presidential hopeful Senator John McCain. A republican, McCain faces tough competition from Giuliani and Mitt Romney. I have a lot of respect for McCain, but I’m not sure what type of president he would make. What do you think?

Thanks for commenting Jack. I wouldn’t be surprised either if McCain pulled out of the race, the news is full of reports that his staff are defecting from his campaign team in droves. On the other hand, he is persistent!

With my opinion set aside on whether or not Senator McCain would make a good president, I don’t see him raising the kind of money Guiliani and Romney are raising. He is going to have a tough time on the campaign trail because of his age anyway and from what I am hearing he just doesn’t feel that optimistic about running. I would not be surprised to hear that he is pulling out before the primaries.
