Being a Massachusetts resident, I think Romney is an alright guy. Sure, he was MIA during his last few years in office here prepping for his now active run for US President, but on the whole he put our budgets in order (as far as I know). The one thing he didn’t do was address the continued and growing violence in and around Boston, which is a huge problem for us here in the hub. Not to further digress, but this is something I believe that our current governor, Deval Patrick, is doing a good job on.

Anyway, I’m dumbfounded that one of Romney’s aide’s, Jay Garrity, was impersonating an officer of the law. That is absurd, and he should be ashamed of himself. I just read more details of the story (one of the dangers of the media - you don’t always get the whole story) and behind the headlines, it turns out that only anonymous people accused him of doing so, and he denies the accusations, but has resigned anyway.
