2008 Elections

Romney Takes Michigan and Clinton + Obama

Maybe this will be a turnaround time for Mitt Romney. Although I probably won’t vote for Romney myself, I do respect the guy for his accomplishments. As I’ve said before, I don’t think he’s done a very good job campaigning or debating, but nevertheless I’ve been surprised at how he’s fared in the polls. With Michigan a win, could this be the time when Romney will shine? I bet he’s not used to losing! However, Michigan is familiar territory for Mitt, so it might not represent overall voter sentiment. In other news, Clinton and Obama have made peace. Whoopdy doo.

I have been really surprised by Romney’s success but this election has been difficult to predict. I was quite excited with the peace between Clinton and Obama - I don’t think that when cadidates sling each other through the mud it just mocks the way our democratic system works and is quite annoying.
