The New York Times is reporting that Fred D. Thompson, star of the show “Law and Order” is planning to join the race for President of the United States in 2008. This will likely cause a stir in the Republican party.

It is interesting to note that Fred Thompson has non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
If Mitt Romney is elected president, he says he’ll donate his presidential salary of $400,000 a year. Its actually a great move on his part, in my opinion. As a Massachusetts resident, I feel that Romney did a good job as governor, but wasn’t always there. Instead, he was preparing for his presidential candidacy.

The Telegraph is reporting on rumors that the star of the successful TV show “Law and Order” Fred Thompson may be joining the 2008 presidential election race as a republican candidate. The republicans have had good luck with actors turned politicians: Ronald Reagan and Arnold Schwarzenegger to name a few.
